Three times a year, Commonwealth Chorale has a Saturday morning workshop and rehearsal. The first half is dedicated to working with a professional singer on vocal technique generally and with examples from our current concert music preparation. Our April workshop was with well-known Boston-based soprano  Sonja DuToit Tengblad. Chorus members really enjoyed the opportunity to hear about and practice what Ms. Tengblad has learned recently about neuro-science for singers and related techniques to use in warming up our voices.
